Monson Companies operates from three company owned locations, two in Massachusetts and one in South Portland, Maine, as well as numerous strategically selected public warehouses throughout the US.

Facilities - Leominster, MA
Monson Companies maintains extensive warehouse facilities in Leominster, MA, which enables us to maintain our commitment to fast, flexible service throughout our geography. Our warehouse capabilities in Massachusetts include110,000 sq ft of company-managed warehouse space with the following features:

  • a drumming facility, which packages a wide range of products in IBC's, totes, 55-gallon drums as well as 5-gallon pails.

  • a food-grade room, which is audited annually by the American Institute of Baking (AIB). For seven straight years we have earned a "Superior" rating from the AIB.

  • a state-of-the-art flammable storage facility with blow out panels and foam, fire suppression system.


     
     

Facilities - South Portland, ME
Our South Portland facility is 36,000 sq. ft of general warehouse space plus a 9,600 sq. ft. liquid chemical operations building as well as a 5,400 sq. ft. maintenance facility. Our tank farms consists of 8 inside and 11 outside and our rail spur feeds directly off southern Maine's major switch yard.

Our capabilities in Maine include:

  • a facility, which packages bulk acids and alkalis in 15, 30 and 55 gallon drums as well as 300 gallon IBC's. Also calcium chloride in 35 lb. pails; 5, 20, 50 lb. bags and 10 lb. shaker jugs; potassium chloride in 25 and 50 lb. bags; and urea in 50 lb. bags

  • 4 urea tanks which react dry urea to make 50% liquid urea.

  • the ability to receive railcars of product, trans-load into and ship via tank wagons
