Our original company, Monson Chemicals, was founded in 1965. In the late eighties and early nineties we acquired Lovezzola-Ward Company and Washburn-Linder & Company, both specialty chemical distributors. In 1996 the purchase of the Industrial Division of W.H. Shurtleff in Portland, ME further broaden our capabilities with ice-melting and inorganic chemical products. Then in 2004 we purchased the Contractor Division of Shurtleff. Shurtleff and Washurn-Linder can each trace their roots back to the 1800's! The newest member of our Company, Lenape Industries, acquired in 2006, offers specialty chemicals in plastics, coatings and personal care markets.
